    Description

    This is one of my favorite Japanese war medals that can be obtained at a reasonable price due to the quality purple and green enamel work. You're bidding on an original Japanese Order of the Rising Sun 7 medal with it lapel button bow rosette. Please take care in examining the photos for the condition of this medal and its box as they're the exact ones you're bidding on and there is some age wear.  This medal was established on April 10, 1875 and was the first national decoration awarded by the Japanese government. It could be awarded to to both military persons and civilians.
