Description
Very good condition original WWI German manufactured Model
1895 Mauser bayonet that has Weyersberg Kirschbaum manufacturer markings on the
left ricasso and was probably made for Serbia, with the “C” marking on the
spine. Serialized on the right side of the guard. Except for the lack of
Chilean markings, it is identical to the Chile M95. Blade has nice original
bright finish. Remaining metal finish is original bright with some gray and
brown patina. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some
handling marks, lock button functions fine. Fitted in an original unnumbered
steel scabbard that is worn to mixed bright, gray and brown with one dent. An
interesting Mauser bayonet for your collection.
