WWI photo archive of British activity in Northern Rhodesia 4 album pages, 22 photos. Includes photos (tho not very clear) of German General Lettow-Vorbeck surrender the last major German force to do so. Photos of British troops, Northern Rhodesia Police Bank, carriers, Livingstone Station, Askari troops, great shots of Victoria Falls, bridge and gorge, Zambezi River, tribes listed (as spelled in notes) Awenbwa, Masakalumbue. Also a snapshot of Billy Sunday baseball player turned evangelist in the early 20th century. Largest photos are 5.5" x 3.25", there are no notes as to the identity of whoever put the photos together. Each page is 7" x 10", photos on both sides, glued to that awful black album paper.
