    Description

    Original WWI period Ottoman Turkish 1909 Pattern Officers' D-guard short sword. The 67.5 cm long blade is of good quality steel with diamond section. Blade is stained and pitted. The inscription to the forte reads "Allah bizimle" in Turkish meaning "Allah (God) is with us". Brass D-guard  hilt with ribbed wooden grip. All parts are tight. No scabbard.
