Description
Here is a U.S. Army 3 Inch Gun artillery shell casing that was made into an ashtray - with a matchbox holder. Lots of nice detail on this piece. One side of the matchbox holder is bent, but could easily be bent back. It could use a good cleaning. On the side is engraved Morgan Oct 4-5 1918. Two of these ashtrays, made the same general manner, came from the same estate. It appears as if the shell is dated 1918, and there is an "flaming bomb" Ordinance stamp on the base. SHIPPING INCLUDED.Virginia residents must add 5.3% state sales tax to the total, which includes shipping.
