    Description

This is a rare model 1914 ,wider blade at the end, with all the bells and whistles. The leather on the scabbard , and frog attachment are in great shape still soft. The dark walnut grip is perfect. The release button for attaching the bayonet works like new. The serial numbers 205537 , on the tip is a cross, and on the throat of the scabbard is a tiny rifle marking with an N in the middle, WAFFENFABRINK , NEUHAUSEN , is on the throat of the blade, the saw is very sharp, like out of the factory, minty blade.  This model is getting harder and harder to find especially in this shape, extremly well taken care of. I am starting it low. TWENTY FIVE INCHES LONG, A HUGE BAYONET. This bayonet was outlawed in WW1 where many found their way into , because of the saw it was considered  to cruel for warfare, most were used for engineer groups to cut trees.
