    Description

This rare WW I Trench Art footed planter is in excellent condition.  It has been in my late mother's possession for well over 70 years. This planter's underside is marked CMM in inverted triangles atop one another. This was the marking of
    Curran Metal and Munitions Plant
in Cardiff Wales. The underside also has the date 1918 along with 4.5 "I N" The top has scolloped edges. On either side attached are two impressive lion heads each with rings. Also attached is another piece--a most decorative two angel ornament in the center--both holding what appears to be a Peace wreath. Each angel is also touching a central plaque. This WW I trench art three-footed planter weighs 3.5 pounds and is 4 " high and has a diameter of 5 1/8"
