WW 1 WW 2 US 79th Infantry Division White Summer Weight Overseas Cap

Fantastic 79th Division, 79th Infantry Division white overseas cap with hand made patch "Cross of Lorraine" ! I just noticed, while taking the photographs, that the pin that held the patch in place while sewing, is still there. The patch is machine sewn to the cap. The cap is a large size as there are no tags, size markings or any other markings inside the cap.  This division has a very distinguished history in both World War One and World War Two. Hard to tell what era it comes from as I could not find a match in any search. Has minor staining inside and out from wear as seen on the pictures. Here is a chance to own a very cool, rare cap for your collection.
