From the early 1900's--I don't know where this makeshift Hospital is located. Maybe Belgium or France or Italy. The American flag has 48 stars. The Red Cross flag appears to have folded down or curled during the photo and I think it was penciled /painted or inked in after the photo was processed. (There is a faint fingerprint in ink almost directly above the head of the soldier on the right holding the Red Cross flag). There are some foreign Military service members in the group, but I don't know what country had that uniform. Some patients also in the group.

Pre-owned, **NOTE** photos taken in plastic holder, NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE. You will only receive the approx. 8.5"x11" original photo on cardboard as made during WW1. Some old spots and age spots. Very slight surface wear, may have a finger smudge (a fingerprint on top almost above the soldier w/Red Cross flag's head) Cardboard mat it is attached to has bumped corners and scuffed corners. I THINK the "Cross" on the flag was penned in after the photo was taken-probably because the flag curled with the breeze and had to be added in to get the symbol in the photo..NO PLASTIC HOLDER INCLUDED.  PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS. * The precise color of the items may vary depending on the specific monitor, the settings and the lighting conditions.
