    Read Below for what qualifies as a good core.
    This is a brand new OEM VOLVO PENTA raw water / sea water pump that was used on a wide range of Volvo Penta engines.  This pump has the Dual V belt pulley.  The pump comes with the impeller pre-lubed and ready to install.  If you have any fitment questions or need a pump for another model please send me a message.

    Symptoms of a bad raw water pump
    :  Pump may leak water out of the weep hole, growling or howling sound from bad bearing, engine overheats or high exhaust temperature due to low output.
    What is a good core?
    The main components of the pump are the Pulley, Bearing Housing and the Impeller Housing.  I'm not picky when it comes to the overall condition of the core, however, do not send me back a pump that is known to be bad.  Signs of a non-rebuildable core are 1) a cracked pulley 2) a bearing that pulls right off the pulley shaft 3) physical damage from someone trying to rebuild it.  4) Extreme salt water & rust from a pump that has been sitting and rusting for years.  Other than those all other cores are fine.   If you have questions just let me know.
