Description
UNITED STATES ARMY1ST CAVALRY DIVSION
Unused Sheet of Public Information Office (PIO) Stationery
Late 1950s or Early 1960s
Description:
Here's a nice, vintage piece of memorabilia from the U.S. Army's legendary 1st Cavalry Division, a simple unused sheet of stationery from the Division's "INFORMATION OFFICE", the PIO. It carries the 1st Cav's yellow and black insignia in both upper corners.
Since the mailing address is given as
APO 24
, it should indicate that this is from the Division's deployment to South Korea between 1957 and 1965.
Size:
approx.
7"
x
10"
Condition:
Very good
, I'd say. The sheet is unused, clean and fresh, with no creases, tears, or holes. The lower corners do have mild bends and I note a couple of what I'd call faint "thumb bends" in the body of the sheet. (Please see scan.)
