Thermal-Q ® - Freeze Sensors work great for all low voltage battery applications.
Our handy Thermo-Q freeze sensor will automatically turn power "ON" when the water temperature reaches 35 degrees F. and will turn off the power when the
water temperature exceeds 50 F. degrees. This effectively keeps water from freezing. The Thermo-Q unit can be used with any other ANTI-FREEZING devices to save electricity and or prevent over heating. Works great for all low voltage and battery powered heaters. Good for 300 watt heaters only unless you use a relay.
At 35 degrees F. the Thermo-Q will turn "ON" all types of heaters: Heat tape, heat lamps, stock tank heaters, pond heaters, engine block heaters, etc.
Can also be used as a "Freeze Warning Device" by connecting it to a car head lamp that is visible from your house. The Thermo-Q can simply be used to light-up a lamp or alarm if the temperature drops below 35 degrees F. alerting you. 300 Watts peak!
Must used with a static 20 amp metal fuse or "pop'
