Saint St. Cornelius the Centurion, patron of soldiers laminated holy card

These beautiful Holy Prayer Cards are based on several photos of stained glass of Saint Cornelius the Centurion. He is the patron saint of soldiers and Jewish converts. These cards have been digitally designed and handcrafted in the United States. The stained glass of St. Cornelius has been cleaned up and redesigned to offer a unique look in this representation. Pictured here, Saint Cornelius is shown in his full Roman armor holding a shield and a crucifix. This card has been designed to honor Saint Cornelius  and to glorify God through veneration of him. St. Cornelius, a Roman Empire centurion, was stationed in Cesarea in the the Judea province of the Roman Empire. He was visited and converted by St. Peter himself and is written about in the Acts of the Apostles (10:15). After St. Peter visited him and evangelized, Cornelius had his entire family baptized also giving full Biblical credibility to the baptisms of infants and children by the Catholic Church. He is considered the first recorded gentile to be converted to Christianity.
The back of the card offer information on the feast day, birth, death as well as patronage and prayer.
The card dimensions are 2.5 inches by 5 inches. It is beautifully designed and unlike any other prayer card of this great Saint. The card is laminated to extend its usage and is part of the Great Saints collection series of these cards. However, we are now offering these cards in a thicker 5 mil laminate which is much more durable to offset the increase in price.
