This is an
ORIGINAL M1913 SPANISH BAYONET & SCABBARD
. (Inv. no. 0366) Sword bayonet for the 7 mm Mauser M1916 Short
Rifle and also 8 mm Mauser M1943 Short Rifle. It is about 20 ½ inches long with a 15 5/8 inch blade. One side of the ricasso is marked ARTILLERIA CROWN CROSSED CANNONS FABRICA DE TOLEDO, the other side is marked 6079? The bayonet is in very good to fine condition with minor signs of age and use. The scabbard is also in very good to fine condition – stitching is tight, no rips or tears.
