    Description

    Large iron bit brace.  Has a 2 pole cage head. It measures about 15 1/2" long.  Sweep is about 11".  Sections of the shaft are angled stock and and sections are round stock.  Missing the bit holding mechanism.   Good overall condition.  Probably made as early as the 18th century.
