Intern camp Zeist Netherlands WWI photo postcards 1917 Legerplaats

Description

Two photo postcards from the internment camp at Zeist in the Netherlands.  The camp was located near Amersfoort which is just outside Utrecht.  Both sent to a woman in Buffalo, New York.  One dated 1916 is in French, one is 1917 in English.  The visitors canteen or restaurant and the work school.  The people would be refugees or internees from Belgium or Germany.  The work school people are all dressed in military uniforms, could be English, French, Belgian or even German soldiers.  There are some uniformed people in the canteen card but most appear to be in civilian dress.  I will ship in a stiff cardboard mailer.  Will ship overseas but please ask for a shipping quote, will probably cost around -17.00 to ship overseas.
