German Military 1895  Carl Zeiss Jena D.R.P. Binoculars DF 95 Private No 337 . Condition is "Used".
A rare early model DF95 with low ser #  number.
The serial number is 1079
This is a rare early German army issued DF 95 (1895 model)
The condition:
Missing some screws and a non stock screw has been used but dont know when.
The covering has shrunk and needs to be reglued.
The rubber eye cups are missing.

Also was an officers private purchase as etched in top plate of binoculars “P. No 337”. This meant it had a private number issued to these binoculars.
He also marked the 337 on lens barrel.
They are very very rare . These are stamped 1079 . With a private purchase number of 337
Carl Zeiss company started making the ODF95 and DF95 in 1895.
No doubt these we’re used in WW1 and WW2.
