Original Model 1905 Rear Sight Slide Assemblies for the M1903 Springfield Rifle.
This is the front
and
back piece
plus
the screw.  Not included in the assembly is the tiny pin.
These are authentic USGI parts, not reproductions.  They were packaged 25 to an envelope, marked "Slide, Rear Sight, Assembly" for the M1903A1.

, this type would be correct for all rifles through WWI and for Remington's WWII M1903 rifles.  That the package is marked "M1903A1" indicates these were WWII production.
The sights are coated with grease that's easily removed by hand.  No solvent needed.  Note that the screw in the example I disassembled was quite tight.  To avoid damaging the screw slot when you install the slide, be sure to use a properly sized screwdriver and hold the slide securely.  Application of some penetrating oil beforehand might help.  You don't want to disfigure the screw.
