    Original M1903 Springfield Rifle Front Sights by Remington.
    Authentic USGI parts, not reproductions.
    Why buy fake parts for your '03 when you can buy original sights for the same price?
    The bases are blued or Parkerized and marked with a sanserif "R" at the right rear.   They have been installed on a rifle and have the 3/32" diameter hole at the front of the dovetail.  The last photo shows a sight without the hole next to one that has been installed on a rifle and has the hole.
    We have a small number of these sights, all in very good to excellent condition.   Examples that aren't as nice are listed separately.  Most have a little greasy residue that is readily removed.
    The blade measures 0.052" wide. The overall height from the base of the dovetail to the top of the blade is about 0.675".  A few have "0" blades which measure about 0.660" high.
    All the sights have a single witness mark on the front.
