This is an interesting 1880s G.O.Taylor Pure Rye Whiskey bottle with an embossed 00 reward and 1885 dated labels!.....
G.O.TAYLOR REGISTERED TRADE MARK 1000 REWARD FOR EVIDENCE OF THE PERSON WHO REFILLS THIS BOTTLE LABELED
emb on bottom....Original label on front reads in part: G.O.TAYLOR PURE RYE  May 1st 1873 we began the bottling of whiskey...etc.etc. Chester H.Grove & Sons Boston Feb.2nd,1885....Back label gives "Expert" testimonials.....Hand blown in 3 part mold...hand tooled tapered lip with ring...amber....round...11 1/2"tall...Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean attic bottle with no haze. Both labels are worn and torn as you can see, but still much is readable
