Description
This art deco table top cigarette holder has a domed silver colored metal top and a black plastic bottom.It is ~4 1/2 inches tall including top knob and 3 1/2 inches in bottom diameter. There is a small dent in lid and some discoloration of the metal probably from use.
It will hold 40 cigarettes - ther are slots for each. There is a center metal canister which holds a "clay moistener" (so marked). Bottom is marked "Patent #1,987,373 January 8, 1935"
It was in my parents' home for as long as I can remember and I'm 74. They were married in 1936 so this may have been a wedding present.
