    Description

    ANTIQUE (dated 1918) -  WWI Trench Art  - SHRAPNEL LETTER OPENER with IRON CROSS - The letter opener measures approximately 8 1/2" long (measured end to end) - The Condition is Good with age appropriate wear - The is a nick at the end of the pointed blade as can be seen in the close-up photograph - Dark metal patina - The handle is made from iron shrapnel and is fused with a bronze bullet casing - The steel blade is hand engraved CHAMPAGNE 1918 -
