Antique WW1 French Brass Trench Art Vase From Artillery Shell Basket Weave Top

Offering an outstanding Trench Art Vase from World War I. This beautifully crafted item was made from a 75 mm brass shell. It has a very well made shaped bottom. The mid section is dimpled and has VERDUN in raised letters. The top is intricately woven latticework. The vase measures approximately 13" high x 3 1/2" at it widest point.
