Some general info on EAB
Erik Anton Berg (EAB): of Eskilstuna (E.A. Berg MFG. Co. LTD). Mr Erik Anton Berg (Circa 1856-1903) was born in the town of Eskilstuna in Sweden, he was well-known for the manufacture of knives and hand tools. As a young boy, he was practising at the Heljestrand and Johan Engström knife factories. At 23 years of age, Mr Berg started his own forge beginning with the manufacture of razors and progressed to tools and knives. Upon his death in 1903, his five daughters became the owner of the company. Since the late 1950s, the firm has been part of the BACHO group.
