Antique Rye bottle Schneider & Meisner Dayton, Ohio

Description

This is an antique quart pre pro Rye bottle from Schneider & Meisner 116 S. Jefferson St. Dayton, Ohio. It is marked B on the bottom. The label states "Containing no Poisonous Drugs or other added Poison". There is residue on the inside of the bottle, mostly in the shoulder area. There are no chips and there are what appear to be two scratches or light cracks, each running parallel to the two seam lines for several inches below the label.  The label is loose on both sides, just being held in the middle. It also has some paper loss and is lightly soiled and darkened with age. Overall an unusual bottle in very good condition for its age.
