Description
From a Dutch glass collection I’m offering a Dutch or English hand blown green onion bottle from the early 18th
century. The bottle measures 7¼” (18.5 cm) high and the biggest diameter is approx. 5¾” (14.5cm). The quality of the bottle is perfect, very often the glass wire around the neck is damaged from removing the cork, but with this bottle the wire is still perfect. Although the bottle was excavated in the city of Amsterdam, the glass hasn’t hardly any
patine from staying in the soil hundreds or years. Furthermore the bottle has a nice pontil scar. The bottle was excavated in Amsterdam several years ago at the Singel, one of the famous Amsterdam canals together with another onion bottle with a damaged glass wire which I sold some time
ago on ebay.
Of course I will combine shipping
