    1856 VF large cent with counterstamp “Oil of Ice”
    If the counterstamp wasn’t there, this coin would be a VF.
    There is a rim ding at about 8 o’clock.
    The counterstamp reads “OIL OF ICE”. This is an original counterstamp with a squarish O.
    I found this listed on page 622 in Rulau’s US Tokens book.
    The reverse detail is altered from the obverse counterstamp.
